Keeping busy...

Even though it has been unseasonably warm for January and February we still seem to be stuck inside. We have tried staying busy with gymnastics, playgroup and dance class but there still doesn't seem to be enough crafts and projects to keep the troops happy!

Chelsea's baby shower to celebrate little Brayleigh's arrival in about a month!

Sophia's buddies hanging at a birthday party at Tumbling Express.

I had to throw this in.  Our boxer, Rosie, loves to lay on our lab, Reagan!  We can't figure it out!!!

We decided to make Valentine houses out of graham crackers, icing and sprinkles.  Messy but fun!

Alex added his name to his house before he ate it up!

We need to get our sillies out!!!

I am glad it has been unseasonably warm out but I still say "I want one big snow"!  Yes, I know be careful what you wish for but just one that hits on a Saturday once everyone is home safe and it keeps us in to snuggle, craft, play out in it and then have lots of homemade cocoa (although my kids will tell me that Grammie's is better than mine).  My kids are getting cabin fever and are going alittle coo-coo!  We have had a few playdates which does help but they really need a good ole romp outside to cure this!  It also doesn't help that we are in the process of booking our summer vaca to the beach...geez, only 5 months away!!!

This is what happens when you leave a 2 year old to paint while you are busy painting the kitchen walls!

And now we know where Ava got the idea!  To the bath we go...

Alex has a jump rope for heart at school to raise money!  It was so fun to watch them.

Alex's creation made of clay.  Lots of art projects to fill the time in January!!!

Alex jumping with his classmates! His little face just lit up when he saw Grammie and Papaw came to see him jump.
As for me, I have a list of indoor projects to complete before it's time to tackle the outdoor projects this spring!  I am trying to get EVERYTHING organized one room at a time!  We have completed the tasks of getting new doors for the house, a new couch and we painted the kitchen!

Alex just had a tooth pulled yesterday and was such a trooper.  His little jaw was still swollen when he woke up but he really hasn't complained much.  He got a prize yesterday for being so good (of course a valium and laughing gas helped him along) and then some money under his pillow this morning for his pulled tooth!
