All good things must come to an end...

We visited The Gulfarium and I love that Ava is on her tippy toes to try and see the sea lions swimming!
 Monkeys in the pool!
Feeding the Stingrays!  Cool, but a little gross, they suck it out of your hand!
Ava loves animals and she just watched as all the big kids got to hold the cock-a-too named Charlie.  She thought she was big enough too, so I had to convince the handler to let Ava get a turn and she did great.  She loved it and held so still, she is a big kid too...I don't like it one bit!
I wanted to get some family pics on the beach and cooperation from them mixed with my patience never works well together!
Ta da, that's about as good as it gets!
 Diva
Well, we are home again:(  I had a wonderful time and really could have stayed about another week but such is life!  The kids were okay with leaving because they really wanted to get back to their Grammie and Papaw!  Alex even said he'd stay with them next year instead of going on vacation...hmm, don't know how to take that!  The drive home was long but they did pretty well.  I believe we will definately go back next year to the same place, very quiet and beautiful!!!

'Ders da ocean!

Beach bum!

Why won't my kids cooperate for pictures?!  They always have to do the "goofy faces"!

 My little sweeties!

Ava kept yelling from our balcony, 'ders da ocean!  They love, love, love it!  They have all 3 been knocked down by waves but they always come back for more. The waves have been slightly rough for the Gulf side but we are still enjoying it all!  Waves, sand, more sand, sun, pool, eating...you get the idea!

Gearing up for Vaca!

Alex's countdown to Florida he hung on the fridge!
                                                                    UP TO BAT!

We are really looking forward to heading out on vaca...what a trip it will be with an almost 6, almost 4 and a 2 year old!  Are we crazy you ask?   Yeah, pretty much.  Tee ball is winding down this week, I will be finishing up my work week tomorrow (at least at my paying job) and then I will pack until we leave on Saturday!  We also need to sign up for summer reading program at the library and then we have the Hill family reunion Saturday morning before we set off!  We are hoping to make it about 7 hrs Saturday and then be at our condo by noon on Sunday.  Hello beach...

The Stampin Up! discontinued list came out today so I'm looking forward to my quite time to feed my guilty pleasure and check it out!  I will have lots to scrap when I get home from Florida...as if I didn't already!  I just also wanted to post the adorable "count down" my 5 year old thought of doing to help him know exactly when our trip started!  So cute...I hate to admit that I am just as excited as he is though!

One last big milestone is that Matt and I are finishing up our P90X, all 13 weeks of it, this week and we have really done pretty well.  I wish I would have taken before and after photos as they suggest but couldn't bring myself to do it at the time!  I have lost 15 pounds and feel a TON better each day.  Matt has lost alot of inches and toned up but he now is trying to "gain some bulk" as he says!  I'm now trying to find another program to keep me motivated.  The great thing about this one is that I could follow the predetermined schedule and not have to think about any of it.  If I could just keep all the food out of my mouth I could probably drop another 15!  I did give up Cokes and while I miss them some, I can tell a difference...at least I'll keep telling myself that.  So on that note, i'll go grab a glass of water!

Graduation already...SERIOUSLY!!!

Alex graduated from WC preschool today! This little guy has matured and grown SO much this year! I am so glad we waited to send him to kindergarten. He really "gets it" this year and has such a love for learning now. He is always asking for more paper to write things and is always trying to spell things out...it really is cool to witness his curiosity!!! Sophia had her last day of 3-4 yr old preschool. We were scheduled to have it at the park but the darn never-ending rain stopped that real quick. It was a nice day anyway just spending it with her only. We are so ready for summer and to head out on our vacation to Okaloosa Island, Fl next week!

Beautiful Day!

It was such a great day out...finally! Now, we are so behind in getting everything done outside that we won't be able to slow down to enjoy it but at least we can things done!!! We got the garden planted this week so bring it on! Those fresh veggies can come on anytime now, we are soooo ready.

This is such a cool product from Stampin Up! You can digitally scrap all your memories without having to use all of your space for supplies! I've really just been playing so I am still getting the hang of it but it is fun!

May is screaming by us!

Life is what happens while I'm busy videoing and taking pictures of it! LOL! I don't want to miss a minute so I keep snapping and keep the camera rolling but then I feel like I miss so much "in the momentness"! Oh well, I do love going back and editing all the pictures and I really do look at them over and over as well as use them for my scrapbooks. I have had such a wonderful but oh so busy May. Tee ball is in full swing, which I was "promoted" from team mom to coach (and I use that word really loosely), dance was winding down with 3 recitals and gymnastics is still weekly. The kids have fun but it is exhausting at times. Alex loved his tee ball practices but got a little nervous in games with all the spectators. He has finally adjusted and is doing so great! It makes me proud. Sophia LOVES, LOVES, LOVES dance and really shows it in her performance. Her teacher says she does really well and this too makes me a proud mama! Ava, however, well...she's 2 and she acts it. We do her Mommy and me gymnastics class but she was to disruptive for everyone so I decided to pull her and do some private sessions (to fulfill what we had already paid for) until she "gets it", she loves it but thinks it is ALL about her!!!  Any Moms have suggestions on how to fix that? LOL

On a fun for me note, I got a beautiful potting bench from Matt and the kids for my birthday and an awesome laptop from my parents (for my birthday) and Matt and the kids for Mother's Day! Man am I lucky in so many ways!
